The Wongs make magnets

Every year, like a lot of parents, we'd order our kids' school photo magnets. They lived on the fridge with everything else — the vacation shots, the holiday cards, the random Tuesday selfies. We loved them. We just thought they could be better.

In 2024, I took time away from work to focus on family. That pause turned into a question my wife LeAnh and I kept circling back to: what would it look like to build something of our own — something our kids could grow up around?

We dug into the world of custom photo magnets. Watched other operators share their setups, their numbers, their failures. Realized we could make something better than what we'd been buying — and that the people we'd be making them for were people exactly like us.

So FridgeWorthy is what we built. Premium 2"x2" photo magnets, made in our Charlotte studio, designed to feel like something worth keeping.

And we added something nobody else has: an NFC tag tucked inside each magnet that plays a 30-second voice memo when you tap your phone to it. A wedding toast. Your kid singing. The voicemail from someone who's no longer here. Photos go on the fridge. Stories don't have to stop there.

What started as a side project has grown into something LeAnh and I are building together. We ship anywhere. Our roots are in the Carolinas, and we're grateful to every family, couple, and event planner who's made us part of their celebrations.
