When you place an order, submit an inquiry, or otherwise interact with Fridgeworthy, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, event details (date, venue, guest count), and the photos and audio recordings you upload for your magnet order.

When you use our website, we automatically collect limited technical information through cookies and analytics tools, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referral source. We use this to measure site performance and improve the user experience.

If you pay through our checkout, payment information (card number, billing address) is collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not receive or store full card numbers.

We use the information we collect to fulfill your orders, communicate about your order or inquiry, provide customer support, send order confirmations and shipping updates, improve our products and services, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded photos or voice recordings for marketing purposes or to train any AI model. Your uploaded content is used only to produce your magnet order.

We share limited information with third-party service providers who help us run our business. These include: Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (website hosting), Resend or a similar transactional email provider (order confirmations and inquiry responses), Google Analytics (site usage measurement), and Cloudflare (content delivery and, where applicable, NFC voice-note hosting).

Each service provider is contractually required to handle your information only for the purposes we engage them for, and consistent with this Privacy Policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics, and (where applicable) retargeting advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and Do Not Track (DNT) browser preferences where technically feasible.

We retain order information (including your contact details and order history) for seven years, which aligns with tax and accounting record-keeping requirements in the United States.

Photos uploaded for magnet printing are retained only as long as needed to fulfill the order and support any post-purchase service needs. After a reasonable post-order window, uploaded photos are deleted from our systems.

NFC voice recordings, if your order includes NFC-enabled magnets, are retained for seven years from upload so that the magnets continue to function. You can request deletion at any time, which will make the associated magnet stop playing the message.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@befridgeworthy.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your information; the right to data portability; and the right to opt out of certain processing activities.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of any sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

EU and UK residents: Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we learn of a security breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you consistent with applicable law.

Fridgeworthy is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact privacy@befridgeworthy.com and we will promptly delete it.

Fridgeworthy is based in the United States. If you access our website or place an order from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not offer the same level of data protection as your home country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, such as through a banner on our website or an email to the address associated with your account.
